    ayahuasca - preparing the trip

I'm just preparing an ayahuasca-trip for tomorrow. I've got 3 grams of Syrian Rue boiled down to 50 ml liquid and I'm just concentrating the liquid of 30 grams of Chacruna (Psychotria viridis). I'm already very excited 8-)))
Tomorrow at 18:00 p.m. I'll ingest the Syrian Rue liquid and an hour later the Chacruna liquid...
    To be continued

Re: ayahuasca - preparing the trip

    O.K., here is what happenend:
I drunk the very sour concentrate of Syrian Rue. (Clue: Take 1g of Lecithin the day before and another gram 2 hours before the trip. That will eliminate most of the nausea)
An hour later I drank half of the Chacruna-Liquid and waited for the FX. :pint:
Half an hour later I got dizzy and the optix changed a little, but that is all that happened that night. :frown:
Does anybody have a clue what might have gone wrong?
Maybe I boiled it inproperly or I waited to long with the ingestion of the DMT-Liquid...
    I dunno

But I'll go for another try for sure.

    GreetinX

Never tried it..but would LOVE TO.

I really want to hear you 2nd trip report.

It's too bad it didn't really work for you, probably wasn't worth the nausea.

I hear that viridis isn't as strong as other dmt containing plants..maybe try mimosis hostilis (SP??) root bark. This won't have any chlorophyll in the mixture..and I think more dmt.

That's what I read and heard, too. 20 g are on their way and I'll receive them shortly. :-)
2nd trip report will be written.

Re: ayahuasca - preparing the trip

I made myself an ayahuasca brew 2 weeks ago or so.
I bolied 10 g of M. hostilis with 3 g of P. harmala mixed it with some yogi tea and honey and drank about 2 third of it slowly.
It was a totally intense experience.
But it was not confusing or deliriant at all. On the one hand it was an extremly sensual and extatic experience. I jumped arround danced and shamanized like a madman. But on the other hand it was so friendly soft and smoothe and so warm and it felt right!
I had sex with a fictive woman and it was very sensual and raging.
I had the impression that I would be reborn in Austria in the future and become a talented actor who falls in love with that fictive woman who is an actress in Austria at the same time in first sights.
Ayahauca is a strong aphrodisiac, an extatogene, enlightenogene and all in all a shamanistic medicine that can boost your spiritual developement into the highest spheres. Those indian shamans are smart guys.

If you'e ready to do it, do it!

At the moment I'm preparing the next experience.
I'm now crushing an 18 g piece of B. caapi to mix it with 2 g P. harmala and 10 g M. hostilis. I'll add some catuaba and lotus blossoms and of course yogi tea and honey and boil the stuff over three days switching off the heat from time to time and overnight.
If you make yourself an ayahuasca brew do it with much love and respect and take all the time you need. Don't seek the experience, let it come to you.
For the experience candlelight is better than electric light. If it is warm outside, a calm outdoor setting is a fine thing too. Some incence and GOOD music!
And dont eat anything 24 hours before and after. And of course no alcohol. Inform!
Afterwards you will feel a lot of strenght and no hangover at all.

    ENJOY!

    yours sincerely,

i believe 10g mimosa hostilis isn't enough dmt for ayahuasca trip

the effects you discribe looks like a beta carboline only trip

next time try more dmt and you'll see

Re: ayahuasca - preparing the trip

Well, since i'm a newbie to Ayahuasca, I'm starting off with a small amount.
But I listen to your advice and take 15 gram of mimosa hostilis the next two times. Then I'll try 20, 25 and 30.
But 10 gram were still quite intense. If you're right, I totally underestimated beta carbolines.

Are you experienced with aya anyway?
What dose of hostilis do you use?

Hi, I brewed my first ayahuasca tea a few years ago. First I used about 30g of mimosa, with 25g of white caapi. Lemon juice, drank it down, even ate the sludge in the saucepan wrapped in leaves to make sure I got as much as possible.
I felt nothing for the first 2 hours, even when using shamanic music and chants.
I went, disheartened, to a friends, she opened her door and said "WoW, what have you had?".
I went to her mirror to find my pupils were huge, and this brought on a positive euphoric feeling.
I walking back to mine about a half hour walk, and put on my favourite musical nourishment and experimented with bringing on the effects and how I coped with an unexpected postman visit, which although being hypergalactic and in 90% hallucinogenic to 10% everyday visual awareness, I dealt with his questions with ease and even gave him a headtrip to take on his way which he thanked me for.
I did many many other psychedelics before this, but this is different I think. " DMT does not make you hallucinate, it just takes you to other dimensions"-Terrence McKenna.

Re: ayahuasca - preparing the trip

    what I can say is:

Ayhauasca is a emetic-purgative process, she unlocks traumas emotions or memories, in fact visions are a secondary issue.
after all of this, we are the search.

when we talk about this medicine we also talk about shapes and colors, stars and fractals, vibrations frequencies, DNA, hoffman, bhom, gandhi, yoga, Love, the cosmos, spirits, vibrational sounds, akashic records, dreams, ...

you can search and read, there's nothing of what you're asking in those sites? there're many articles in this forum.

Re: ayahuasca - preparing the trip

Did you ever try to ask the plants for their advice?

I have been regularly(twice monthly) ingesting Hoasca (what I will call "the real stuff": the Chacruna and B. Capii combination, as made by a true Brazillian Ayahuascaro), for a year now.
It's my experience that if you ask the plants, and talk to them as a friend, they will respond in kind to you AS a friend; they will be a friend to you.
In order to address plants properly, one needs to speak words from the heart. The path of Ayahuasca, or Hoasca, is a path of the heart.
If one is too embarrased, or too material-minded to consider the plants as friends to talk with, how would one think the plants will be willing to talk to you, and reveal their inner secrets and wisdom?
If one considers the plants last in this process, thinking that the only thing that matters is the correct physical mixture, then one is likely to get a poor end result.
If one is not willing to consider the spirit of the plants, then what is s/he doing ingesting entheogenic plants to start with?
Is this only for recreation, or some simple mind trip?
Certainly, what every person has offered here is worth considering. Yet, the primary expert on the plants is the plants themselves. It is my understanding that this is how Hoasca became physical to start with: that the humans in the jungle, living in communication with the plants, asked them what to do...and the plants provided the knowledge.

Re: ayahuasca - preparing the trip

that is very interesting i have experienced something very similar, some crazy entity i encountered in a trip did an impersonation of me, certain strange habits i have towards other people. But i never thought about whether or not the entity was conscious or not. But it had a major effect on my life because i had never been conscious of this habit until it did this impersonation of me, and in that way it had the effect of expanding my consciousness
