:ninja: hello all I am in oregon USA and an adult community college student, I am thinking of perusing ethnobotany. I found this site researching salvia I have used the gels once and would like to expand on that experience, unfortunately visiting lady salvia is way out of my price range right now. I used LSD selectively in my 20's and am definitely a hallucinogen compatible person it feels like coming home. However I dont like using chemicals and I am not interested in twitching for months( my last trip) and almost getting myself in trouble (my first trip). I have used light doses of mushrooms but am wary of them, I want to explore more spiritual shamanic type plants I would really like to experience Ayahuesca. I also have decided against regular use of Mary J I used it constantly for years to alleviate anxiety but in retrospect it caused more anxiety and mood swings if I use it I avoid heavy indica. :)

hi, have you considered mescaline ?

I didn't see it mentioned, is there a reason?

Also, have you ever done any phenethylamines, such as mda/mdma ?

I would consider cacti/mescaline a shamanic teaching type drug though I havent had the opportunity to use it. Life is trippy enough for me as it is Ive always been a little different (ok alot) and I have kids/ school so I am very cautious in my choices I dont know much about mdma.

From the man who is basically the father of modern MDMA; ( Alexander Shulgin author of PIHKAL )

(with 120 mg) I feel absolutely clean inside, and there is nothing but pure euphoria. I have never felt so great, or believed this to be possible. The cleanliness, clarity, and marvelous feeling of solid inner strength continued throughout the rest of the day, and evening, and through the next day. I am overcome by the profundity of the experience, and how much more powerful it was than previous experiences, for no apparent reason, other than a continually improving state of being. All the next day I felt like 'a citizen of the universe' rather than a citizen of the planet, completely disconnecting time and flowing easily from one activity to the next.

MDMA is a chemical cousin of mescaline.

Yes, there was a lot of bad publicity about it, and most of the bad publicity was bullshit, utterly. This is a friendly introduction to the phenethylamine world, a magical experience which has no compare, if you are a mdma virgin.

Originally, the first prototype of ecstasy, MDA was popular in the 60's a 'the love drug'......MDA is almost the same thing as MDMA, but its a little rougher, a lot more psychedelic, and very much inebriating. MDMA is like......well.......it's like enchantment.

Magic, even......
