I've made hash from screen shaking. I have also made hash from putting my ganj in some alcohol and evaporating all the alcohol away till I had a golden-like residue which later turned black as more alcohol evaporated. I was wondering if there where any other methods andhow much weed it actually takes to make it.

Acetone hash is the ultimate. Grabs the goods and none of the non-psychotropic rubbish. Same idea as alcohol extraction, just you have to be much more diligent. I prefer to let it evaporate outside, there are too many little sparky devices (anything with a motor) inside the house and fumes travel.

You can use acetone bought at your usual hardware store, but reagent grade stuff from a chemical or lab supply company is ideal. Remember this is a solvent, so you should check your tools that you'll be using with it first to make sure they will not dissolve.

So if I had a minimal amount of money and wanted to make alot of hash would shwag work the same way a chronic? I don't personally smoke shwag I just dont want to waste any good chronic for some hash(unless I have alot).

Absolutely, I would not use good quality weed for anything but smoking or vapourizing. When making hash or cannabutter I always use weak weed or stems and leaves.

I'm worried about the butane dissolving PVC, unless there is glass tubing or something that could be used, I'd steer clear of that. And definitely get pure butane, not the lighter refill shit that has heaven knows what else in it. The purity you get from this method would be nice, but not if I can't control what goes into the product, IMO.
